We have now reviewed the main options you have when choosing a reception site.Go back and review the first checklist in this module called Reception Site Needs.In this checklist you defined the needs you have for a reception site.Do you still feel the same, or do you want to change any of your choices?
Now, we will ask you to fill out the next SmartBride™ Checklist called the Reception Options Checklist.Based on the videos you have just watched, have you made any other choices regarding your reception site?
For example, you might think that renting a unique location and renting everything yourself would be great, but you really don’t have the time and energy to get into it—and you aren’t really sure whether your budget could handle it, so you may have opted for an all inclusive site where they look after everything for you.Some brides would love getting their liquor license, and figuring out how much alcohol to purchase, and getting into all the details.Other brides want their wedding to be simple and fun, and want someone else to do that for them.Maybe you are on the middle path where you want to rent a facility and a caterer, but let them get all the details done for you.
The Reception Options Checklist will help you define any choices you have made from the last four videos.For example you might choose to have an open bar, but also include a cappuccino station or a flavoured coffee station from the no alcohol option list.Use the list to define those things that interest you, and make sure they are added to your next checklist when you visit Reception Sites.
