Once you have put your calendar into your binder, it is important to enter into it your personal deadlines to complete the various tasks, which will take you to your wedding day stress free.

Over and over again I hear stories from brides who wish they had more time to get things done.  They often regret putting off decisions along the way, because at the end, everything has to be done fast—and often they end up paying more because they aren’t taking the time they need.

The Timeline Checklist will give you your personal timeline.  Start by marking your wedding day on the calendar.  Then, using the checklist, look at the items listed under 1-2 weeks before your wedding.  Enter them into your calendar.

Then look at the items listed under 3 weeks before the wedding, and enter them into your calendar.  Continue to work backwards from your wedding day, and enter all the items into your calendar.  Those are now your deadline dates.  If you finish them sooner, well, you can just check them off as done, and enjoy being a true SmartBride!
