Your wedding day is soon approaching and you want to look your best. We have all seen wedding pictures with the bride and groom wearing outdated “fads” or hosting hairstyles that are oh-so out of style today. What do you want your wedding pictures to show about you?
Some couples want a unique theme style wedding with all the trimmings, and others want their wedding to be natural and elegant. Many couples choose to look their best by utilizing the best that modern medicine has for us. Teeth whitening, or a teeth cleaning to get the caffeine and nicotine stains out. Botox to get rid of those lines around the eyes. Facial treatments to smooth the skin. Foot treatments to get rid of calluses, or dead skin. Manicures for your hands so your close-up pictures of your wedding ring or wedding bands look great. Foot care to get rid of dead skin and calluses, and depending upon your footwear—painted nails. Hair treatments like deep conditioning or highlights. Some love tanning beds, and want to look tanned and radiant.
In another vein, some people choose to lose a few pounds. That takes a commitment to the gym, healthy eating, and maybe even a detox session or two. Sometimes couples plan a weekend away at a Spa to kick start a detox and exercise routine to get them focussed. Wedding planning time is very stressful, and trying to do any of these things at the last minute is a mistake. Start early, and give yourself time.
Decide if any of these treatments or therapies is right for you, and do them early to see if you like the result. If you have never had highlights in your hair, and you do it right before your wedding, you might find you hate how it makes you look. Trialing these things ahead of time gives you the option to let the effects fade before your wedding day if you don’t like it, or renew the treatment closer to your wedding day. Only you know which of these treatment and therapies are for you.
